1. Acceptance
Your privacy is important to us. This is why we have created this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”). It describes the types of information we may collect from you, or that you may provide, when you visit Tailem.com (our "Site"), as well as how we collect, maintain, use, protect and disclose your information. This Policy covers the information we collect on or through our Site, or when you contact us for any reason. It does not apply to information collected by any third party, including through any external website that may link to or be accessible from the Site. Third parties, such as our advertisers, have their own privacy policies different from ours. Please check directly with each such third party to avoid unfair surprises and misunderstandings.

2. What information we collect
We may collect several types of information from and about users of our Site, including the following:
a. Username, email, social media links and profile images. This information is stored on our servers. The email address is used to maintain your account on our services. It is used to allow you to login and reset your password, and optionally to receive notifications about activity on the Site or other types of mails that you subscribe to on an opt-in basis. It is kept until you delete your account. If you have uploaded profile images, or posted links to your accounts on other social media sites in your profile, this info is also stored on our servers.

Our services contain three types of advertising:
Personalized advertising
Advertising on our Site may include advertising that is targeted to you based on the information about your interests that is collected by ad companies.
If you are located within the EU, you will be presented with a consent dialog in order to display personalized advertising, which gives you control over the specific vendors who are allowed to process your data. Non-personalized advertising
Non-personalized ads are advertisem*nts which are not based on information that has been collected by ad companies. Non-personalized advertisem*nts do not collect or process personal data, and only use cookies in a non-identifyable way (for example, to limit the number of times you see a particular ad).
Affiliate links
Affiliate links are links to our Site which direct visitors to online stores in which they can purchase goods or services. When you visit these links, the URLs contain a tracking identifier that is related to our Site, so that the online store can provide a commission. By visiting these links, the fact that you visited the online store by clicking a link on our Site is shared with the online store. Your activity while using the online store is subject to the online store's privacy policy.
The third parties that we are using to process your data:
Google LLC: We use Google Analytics to collect statistics about our service; however, we use the "anonymize IP" option which zeroes the final octet of the IP address to provide additional privacy and we do not pass in any personal identifiers to the service (such as user IDs or email addresses). We use Gmail, provided by Google, to process our internal email. This means that if you sent us an email, the mail (including the personal data included, such as your name and email address) are processed by Google. We use Google Adsense to provide non-personalized advertisem*nts to users in accordance with their data usage policy for non-personalized ads.
4. Disclosure of your information
We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this Policy:
a. To fulfil the purpose for which you provide it.
b. To contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business.
c. 5. Cookies

6. Children’s privacy
We are committed to respecting the sensitive nature of children's privacy online. Children under 13 years of age are not allowed to visit our site. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 and our service is not directed to children. If we learn or have reason to suspect that a Site user is under the age of 13, we will delete any personal information in that user's account or use that information only to respond directly to that child (or a parent or legal guardian) to inform him or her that he or she cannot use our Site.
7. Data security
Personal information you provide to us is stored on a password protected server accessible only by administrator. We use SSL and adhere to generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. We also use firewall software to detect and prevent intrusions into our systems. We encrypt your passwords using a one-way cryptographic hash (bcrypt), so that we never know your actual password. This means that it won't be disclosed to an attacker in case of a breach. We practice data minimization, so that any breach will reveal the least reasonable amount of personal information (including no personal information in the case where you haven't used the Site in a long period of time). We encrypt our backups before storage, so that an attacker who gains access to a copy of our database backups will not be able to decrypt them. The key to these backups is held in cold storage (that is, it is either stored on a USB key or written on a piece of paper and held in a physically safe location that is in a separate physical facility from our servers). However, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Site because any transmission of information over the Internet has its inherent risks. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, if any, confidential.
We store your personal data as long as you have an account.
8. Accessing and correcting your personal information
You have complete control over the personal data through the functionality offered on the Site and can correct such data yourself. You can also send us an email to hello@tailem.com to request access to, correct or delete any personal information that you have provided to us or to ask questions about this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to refuse a request if we believe it would violate any law or cause the information to be incorrect.
Certain pages on the Site include content from Youtube. Usage of this content is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
